The Talisman

I got Commissioned to make this enormous fire sculpture. the client wanted to be able to be dismantled as they organise events in the remotest places in the world so far its been to Jura Scotland, Kenya, Panama, ANTARCTICA and many more

the job was very intense as the deadline was short for the first event and involved many, many hours (even slept a just total 2 of hour in the last 5 days on the work bench! haha) of planning, sketching, figure out the best way to allow it to be dismantled and put up with minimal tools, it measured over 220cm of 10mm thick Marine Grade Stainless Steel weighing in over 1500kg! I learn a lot about myself and what i’m capable on this commission.

I then took the finished Sculpture to the first event to show how to assemble and use it.
